How Houston's Own handles information submitted through our website and during service inquiries.

1. Overview
Houston's Own respects the privacy of people who visit HTX-Wear.com, request quotes, send photos, communicate with us, or receive services from us. This policy explains the information we collect, why we use it, and the circumstances in which it may be shared.
2. Information we collect
We may collect information you choose to provide, including your name or company name, email address, telephone number, Houston-area location or ZIP code, preferred service date, service requested, job details, access information, appliance information, and photographs or other files submitted with a quote request. If you become a customer, we may also maintain estimates, invoices, payment status, service records, communications, and project documentation.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, driver's-license numbers, financial-account credentials, medical information, or other sensitive information through our quote forms.
3. How we use information
We use information to review and respond to quote requests; communicate about pricing, scheduling, access, and scope; provide and document services; send transactional confirmations; maintain business, accounting, safety, and service records; prevent misuse or fraud; improve our services and website; and comply with applicable law.
4. Photos
Photos submitted through a quote form are used to evaluate the requested work, access, materials, equipment needs, and potential pricing. Submitting a photo with a quote request does not by itself grant permission for that customer-submitted photo to be used in advertising. Houston's Own may separately create project photographs for operational documentation. Any marketing use of project imagery is intended to avoid identifying customers, people, exact street addresses, license plates, account information, or other private information.
5. Service providers and sharing
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to providers that help us operate the website or business, such as website hosting and security providers, email-delivery providers, payment processors, accounting or business-service providers, disposal or recycling facilities, equipment or dumpster providers, and subcontractors or other service providers involved in a job. These disclosures are limited to information reasonably needed for the relevant function. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
Our current website infrastructure uses Cloudflare for website delivery/security and Resend for transactional email delivery. Their handling of information is governed by their own applicable terms and privacy practices.
6. Sale and targeted advertising
Houston's Own does not sell customer personal information and does not use quote-request information for third-party targeted advertising. If our practices materially change, this policy will be updated as appropriate.
7. Cookies, logs, and technical information
The website itself does not currently use advertising cookies. Hosting, security, and network providers may process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, request timestamps, and security logs as necessary to deliver and protect the site.
8. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including service, accounting, dispute, safety, legal, and recordkeeping needs. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to our operations, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Your choices and requests
You may contact us to ask about personal information you have provided, request a correction, or request deletion where reasonably available and not inconsistent with legal, accounting, contractual, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business recordkeeping needs. We will evaluate requests under applicable law.
10. Children
This website and our services are directed to adults and businesses. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through our quote forms.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
